Sean Ryan, Partner

Sean Ryan is an operations executive with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry.  His areas of expertise include data analysis, client consulting and partnering to build solutions and efficiencies.

In his most recent role, Sean led the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Programs Field Operations team for Health Net Federal Services (HNFS) as a Senior Director.  He successfully managed the relationships between HNFS and 91 VA Medical Centers across 37 states.  By collaborating and sharing data with the leaders of the VA Medical Centers, he was able to develop local processes that optimized the way veterans are referred and appointed to care in the community.  

Sean also gained government program knowledge while working various positions for the Department of Defense (DoD) TRICARE program.  He served as Market Manager for the Upper Chesapeake region, Site Manager at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Site Manager at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda.

In addition to the VA and TRICARE programs, Sean also has experience with commercial health plans while working at UnitedHealthcare and Optum.  In those roles, Sean analyzed financial claim spend for Employer Group clients, identified key insights, developed actionable solutions and presented them to C-Suite leaders.

Sean received his MBA from the University of Maryland and his BA from The George Washington University.
